About the event
It is free to submit a piece to the Thread of Remembrance however this workshop has been created to give everyone the opportunity to take part by making a mosaic that can be included.
During the workshop, you will create a mosaic representing something important and personal to you. It could be a memory, a person, a feeling, or anything you wish to immortalise.
You will be provided with a pre-made base measuring 20 × 20 cm, which you may use as is, make smaller, or adapt into a round, rectangular, or more organic shape.
A wide selection of materials will be available, and all tools will be provided, along with tea and coffee. No previous mosaic experience is required.
All you need to do is come prepared with a basic idea and a simple outline drawing of your mosaic. You will also be sent a short form to complete, where…
